I was born and raised in my favorite state, Michigan. My father was a Lutheran teacher for many years and went back to the seminary to be a pastor when I was in the 5th grade. Needless to say I moved around quite a bit. I went to about six different schools, but was lucky enough to spend all my high school years in Carleton, Michigan and graduated from Airport High School in 1996. Go Jets!
I then went on to Concordia, Ann Arbor and graduated in December of 2000. Go Cardinals! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics and Psychology. I also met my beautiful wife, Lori. We never dated in college, but I was her favorite poor college buddy that she always borrowed milk from. She was secretly in love with me from the start...
In March of 2001, I moved to Ohio because Lori was here and that is where I wanted to be. I was called as the 7th grade teacher at Redeemer and have been here ever since. I took over as principal in June of 2007. The biggest joy in my life is my crazy daughter, Mallory. She was born in March of 2006 and is the greatest thing in the world!
I look forward to leading Redeemer for many years to come as we continue to grow in our mission and ministry!
