Thank you to everyone who volunteered to drive to the pumpkin farm. The drivers are: Mrs. Hammonds, Mrs. Hanlin, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Lockard,
and Mrs. Randall. We still need several more drivers for this trip.
Next Wednesday, right after Chapel, first grade will begin reading with their fourth and fifth grade reading buddies. The first graders will read a story from the reading book to the older students, and then the older buddies will read the first graders a story. Mrs. Ramskugler and I have done this reading exchange for a number of years. This is a great way for the older children to help the younger ones with reading. It gives your child one-on-one reading time. We will do this every Wednesday.
Mr. Grulke sent home information about the school book fair yesterday. Hopefully, you have had time to read it. First grade will browse the store on Tuesday. Then you may purchase books with our child on Wednesday or Thursday evening or Sunday (Oct. 12th) after church.
Have a great weekend. Please continue to pray for our class. Please take your child to worship!
