I am very excited to have your child in my class this year! I pray that it will be a wonderful, rewarding experience for all of us, as I'm sure it will be. This is my 3rd year teaching! I graduated from Concordia University, Ann Arbor, MI with an Elementary Education degree, specializing in Lutheran/Christian Education. I have my Ohio certification in Early Childhood (K-3). In addition to teaching 2nd Grade, I coach the 7th and 8th girls' volleyball team. In my spare time I love to read, spend quality time with my family and puppy Scruffy, watch movies and Home and Garden Network, and enjoy the outdoors.
About My Family:
I married my high school sweetheart, Tom, a sheet metal construction worker with a business management degree from Kent State. We live in our cozy duplex in North Canton. Tom and I are active members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in North Canton. This is the church where we met, where my father ministered for 15 years, and where we continue to worship with Tom's family. We also worship at Redeemer on occasion. Recently my parents moved to Waco, TX where my father is a minister at Trinity Lutheran and my mother is a preschool teacher. I am the 2nd oldest of 4 girls. Now you know a little about me.
