A Little Bio!

I was born and raised in my favorite state, Michigan.  My father was a Lutheran teacher for many years and went back to the seminary to be a pastor when I was in the 5th grade.  Needless to say I moved around quite a bit.  I went to about six different schools, but was lucky enough to spend all my high school years in Carleton, Michigan and graduated from Airport High School in 1996.  Go Jets!

I then went on to Concordia, Ann Arbor and graduated in December of 2000.  Go Cardinals!  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics and Psychology.  I also met my beautiful wife, Lori.  We never dated in college, but I was her favorite poor college buddy that she always borrowed milk from.  She was secretly in love with me from the start...

In March of 2001, I moved to Ohio because Lori was here and that is where I wanted to be.  I was called as the 7th grade teacher at Redeemer and have been here ever since.  I took over as principal in June of 2007.  The biggest joys in my life are my crazy daughters, Mallory & Elise.  Mallory was born in March of 2006, and Elise was born in July of 2009.

I look forward to leading Redeemer for many years to come as we continue to grow in our mission and ministry!
