The fall retreat, "Faithwalk", will be held Saturday, September 18th at Mill Creek Park in Youngstown. The cost is $15. Reservations must be in by September 7. For more information or to sign up, see the RWIM bulletin board.

Plan ahead - Make a Difference Day will be on Saturday, October 16. We will put together backpacks and handbags for the Battered Women's Shelter. Please start collecting items for handbags (new or gently used handbages, toiletries, Kleenex packets, makeup, etc...) and school supplies for backpacks (new or gently used backpacks, notebooks, crayons, paper, erasers...).

• ALTAR CIRCLE is responsible for the preparation for Holy Communion services and for the care and proper use of the Altar Paraments. Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of September, November, January, March and May @ 7:30 pm.
• SEWING CIRCLE sews quilts for Lutheran World Relief and other special needs. Work days are held on Tuesday afternoons at the church from September through April, excluding December.
• EVENING CIRCLE @ NOON packs Christmas cookies that are delivered to the homebound. Baptismal banners are made as well as note cards which are sold. Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month from September to May. Devotions and Bible study are held at each meeting. Bring a lunch and food for thought.
• BIBLE STUDY meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 (contact office for location). We are currently studying the early Christian Church in the book of Acts.
